Arakkonam Pentecostal Assembly
Arakkonam Pentecostal Assembly started in the year of 1986 on 6th July at Arakkonam, Vellore dist, Tamilnadu.
Pr. J. Premkumar is the founder and president of this church, after his calling in the year of 1984. Since
onwards he start to preach the gospel in the surrounding villages of Arakkonam. Through him Holy Spirit moved
on his ministry according to MARK 16:17-20 and many of them were healed, Lord Jesus Christ used him in a
mighty way. Through him many souls came forward to accept Jesus as savior. In the apt time the church started
on 6th July 1986.
The first church was started at “Sali amma” house site No: 31, Mosur road, Arakkonam.
Our Story
It was taken for rent, There the Church services and all other activities went on for twelve years from
1986 to 1998. At that period every year the convention and gospel meetings was conducted at the Railway mixed
high school ground with the help of some believers of the church who worked in Southern Railway.
After twelve years with the help of believers through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and by donation the place
bought where we are now. That is totally four grounds, will come nearly 22 cent of land, which is situated in
No: 123, Mosur road, Arakkonam. In 1998 we put thatched Roof of coconut leaves & bamboos.
The dimension of the building was 85’ X 22’; normally the Roof should be change once in two years. But every
year we forcing to change the roof because of natural calamity, it was very hard for us.
It was dedicated by Dr. Stella Dhinakaran the founder of “JESUS CALLS MINISTRY” chennai.
